Tom Hughes completed his PhD in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand. He joined The University of Western Australia’s Fluid Science and Resources Laboratory in 2009 and has a strong track-record of delivering oil and gas industry research projects. He now holds a Senior Lecturer position at Monash University. His research interests are related to liquefied natural gas processing, thermophysical property measurement, carbon dioxide capture and sequestration and natural gas hydrates.
