Researchers Dr. Tom Rufford and PhD Student Arash Arami-Niya of The University of Queensland have been researching adsorption technologies to improve efficiency in helium recovery from natural gas. Read more.
Tom is a Training Centre Chief Investigator based at the University of Queensland. Last year Arash spent three months in the Fluid Science and Resources (FSR) research group at UWA as a visiting student. Since submitting his thesis Arash has moved to Perth and accepted a role as a Research Fellow in FSR. He is working in the area of gas separations and fluid properties.
